Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how APILOT LTD uses cookies and similar technologies on Apilot.co and related Apilot websites and services.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
APILOT LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17156688, with registered office at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.
In this Cookie Policy:
- “Apilot”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean APILOT LTD;
- “Services” means Apilot.co and any related Apilot websites, applications, dashboards, reports, alerts, exports, APIs, documentation and support services;
- “you” and “your” mean the person, company, organisation or other legal entity accessing or using the Services.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an online service.
Cookies can help a website remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in, whether your session is still active, or whether a security check has already been completed.
Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, scripts and other browser-based storage or tracking technologies.
2. How Apilot currently uses cookies
At present, Apilot uses a strictly necessary first-party cookie named apilot_session.
This cookie is used for core service functionality, including:
- login and authentication;
- session management;
- keeping you securely signed in;
- protecting account access;
- supporting security and fraud prevention;
- enabling the dashboard and account features to work correctly.
This cookie is required for the Services to operate properly.
Apilot does not currently use this cookie for:
- advertising;
- retargeting;
- selling personal information;
- cross-site behavioural tracking;
- third-party advertising networks;
- affiliate commission calculation.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are cookies that are required for a website or service to work.
Because the apilot_session cookie is required for login, session management, security and core service functionality, it is treated as a strictly necessary cookie.
Strictly necessary cookies do not normally require prior consent, but we still explain their use in this Cookie Policy and in our Privacy Policy.
If you block or delete this cookie, some or all parts of Apilot may not work properly. For example, you may not be able to log in, stay logged in, access your dashboard, manage your subscription or use account features.

5. Cookies we do not currently use
At present, Apilot does not intentionally use non-essential cookies for:
- Google Analytics;
- Meta Pixel;
- Google Ads;
- retargeting;
- behavioural advertising;
- heatmaps;
- session replay;
- third-party advertising attribution;
- cross-site tracking;
- active affiliate programme tracking.
If we introduce any of these in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and provide consent controls where required by law.
6. Analytics and product improvement
Apilot may collect technical and usage information through server logs, application logs, security logs or account activity records that are necessary to operate, secure and improve the Services.
This is different from placing non-essential analytics cookies in your browser.
If we later introduce browser-based analytics cookies or similar non-essential tracking technologies, we will update this Cookie Policy and ask for consent where required.
7. Referral parameters and campaign links
Apilot may use referral parameters, promotional links or campaign URLs, including URLs containing parameters such as ?ref=.
These parameters may help us understand where visitors came from or how a campaign is performing.
At present, Apilot does not operate an active affiliate programme that uses cookies to calculate commission or automatically create payment rights.
Unless we introduce a formal affiliate, referral or partner programme under separate written terms, referral parameters are used only for internal attribution, diagnostics, campaign analysis or abuse prevention.
Referral parameters do not create any automatic right to commission, payment, credit, discount, revenue share or partnership status.
8. Third-party cookies
Some third-party services may place cookies or similar technologies if you interact with them.
For example, this could happen in the future if Apilot uses or embeds:
- payment checkout pages;
- support chat tools;
- video players;
- analytics tools;
- advertising tools;
- authentication providers;
- embedded content;
- customer support widgets.
At present, Apilot does not intentionally use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
If third-party cookies are introduced in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and provide consent controls where required by law.
Third-party services may have their own privacy and cookie notices. We are not responsible for third-party cookie practices.
9. Cookie consent
Because Apilot currently uses only a strictly necessary cookie for login, session management, security and core service functionality, Apilot does not currently ask for cookie consent for that cookie.
If Apilot introduces non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, such as analytics cookies, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, heatmap tools, session replay tools or marketing attribution cookies, we will provide an appropriate cookie consent mechanism where required.
A consent mechanism may allow you to:
- accept all non-essential cookies;
- reject non-essential cookies;
- manage cookie preferences by category;
- change your choices later.
10. Managing cookies in your browser
You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Most browsers allow you to:
- view cookies;
- delete cookies;
- block cookies;
- block third-party cookies;
- clear cookies when the browser closes;
- set site-specific cookie rules.
If you block or delete the strictly necessary apilot_session cookie, the Services may not work correctly. You may be logged out or unable to access protected account areas.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers provide Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
At present, Apilot does not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking cookies.
If we introduce technologies that are affected by legally recognised opt-out preference signals, we will update this Cookie Policy and respond to such signals where required by applicable law.
12. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time.
We may update it when:
- we change the cookies or similar technologies we use;
- we introduce analytics, advertising or marketing tools;
- we introduce an affiliate, referral or partner programme;
- we change our consent mechanism;
- our legal obligations change;
- we update related Services.
The updated version will be posted on our website with a new effective date.
